How do I use my Wax Melt Warmer?

How do I use my Wax Melt Warmer?

Honestly, it’s SO simple!

Place the wax melt in the melting dish on the top of the melt warmer and an unscented metal cup tea light candle in the base of the melt warmer.

Simply extinguish your tea light at any time and allow the wax melt to harden.  This process can be repeated for up to 8 hours of burning per wax melt.  Once your wax melt is finished (while the wax will remain in the dish there will no longer be any fragrance oil left in the wax after around 8 hours of burning) simply let the wax harden and pop out with the palm of your hand.

Lauren’s Top Tip

If you are struggling to remove the wax from your wax melt warmer, place your burner/top dish in the freezer for 10 minutes and the wax will slide out easily and cleanly.

Why use a metal cup unscented tea light?

When using a wax melt warmer it is important to use a metal cup unscented tea light from a reputable brand.  Fragranced tea lights will burn at a much higher temperature than the unscented metal cup tea light which can cause your wax melt warmer to crack and will definitely affect the fragrance quality of your wax melt.

It is equally important to use a good quality unscented tea light as “cheap” ones often do not burn at high enough a temperature therefore only melting your wax melt partially or sometimes not at all!  Our favourite unscented tea lights are Prices Candles Unscented White Tea Lights.
